Jan. 13—-Hornet Brewer went to Boise Monday for an operation on his right arm which was broken two months ago at the beet dump. Dootors found it necessary to operate and insert a metal plate. Mrs. James De Bord returned home Saturday with her new baby daughter. The De Bord family are living in the E. J. Hobson tenant house. Melvin Crocker, Ike Mitchell and Jim Reed are chopping hay for Wilbur Chapin. A good sized crowd attended the lance Saturday nijht at the Suti- -■et hall. Another dance was an nounced for January 22. Wayne Robb left Sunday for the west coast, accompanied by Keith Lane, Donald Elliot, Wilbur Jack, ind Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Elliot. James Langley, who has been taking flying lessons for some time, flew to Mountain Home Thursday Langley, who built a ha tiger on his farm for his four-passenger Cessna plane, flew the plane to Sunset Valley Saturday and parked It in its new home. A change has been made in the meeting place of the Worthwhile club for January 20. Members will be the guests of Mrs. Orover Coop er and Mrs. William Oregg at the Cooper home. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Guthrie of Boise and Mrs. Marie C. Black were hosts at a dinner party at Mrs Black's home Sunday. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. O lin Black of Caldwell. Mrs. Cash Turner Is convalescing at her home after being ill in the Holy Rosary hospital for 10 days.
