the school district bond election
hereby called, to be held at the
Owyhee Elementary School in the
County of Malheur, in and for
School District No. ,18 of Mal­
heur County, Oregon, on the
4th day of February. A. D.,
1919, between the hours of 2:00
o'clock P. M. and 7:00 o'clock
P. M. there will be submitted to
the legal voters thereof the quest­
ion o f contracting a bond in-
deptedness in the sum of $51,-
500.00 for the purpose of providing
the funds needed for constructing
an Elementary School in and for
said District and for furnishing and
equipping said Elementary School
and for acquiring real property a.

The vote to be by ballot upon
which shall be the words ’Bonds
Yes" and "Bonds No”, and the

Brewer went to Boise Monday for
an operation on his right arm
which was broken two months ago
at the beet dump. Dootors found
it necessary to operate and insert a
metal plate.
Mrs. James De Bord returned
home Saturday with her new baby
daughter. The De Bord family are
living in the E. J. Hobson tenant
house.
Melvin Crocker, Ike Mitchell and
Jim Reed are chopping hay for
Wilbur Chapin.
A good sized crowd attended the

daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Clifford
Wolf and an 8 pound daughter to
Mr. and Mrs. Casmier Rataezyk.
Joe Price, small son of Mr. and
Mrs. Ira Price, Is home after spend­
ing two days In the Nyssa Nursing
home for treatment for pneumonia.
Mrs. Cash Turner Is convalescing
at her home after being ill in the
Holy Rosary hospital for 10 days.
