Mr. See ley Victory Hall was chosen as the esteemed leading knight, and Mr. Abe liitters Cunningham, the only bald-headed Jew to hold that office in Pacific coast Klkdom, was elected esteemed loyal knight. Then just to show their broad mindedness the Elks elected Mr. John Wesley Judy, the oldest and most con spicuous son-in-law of his wife's fath er, as esteemed lecturing knight. ltut throwing nil caution to the winds in their election of treasurer, just because a banker was at their head the lodge took n long chance and elected Mr. Lawrence Candler Mann as treasurer.
