Roman empire. The battle of Actlum
was fought In the year 31 B. C.. and

sula on the west coast of Greece and
oa one side of the peninsula was the
bay of Actiura. the scene of the battle '
that take* Its name from that of the
bay. Aceordlng to tradition. It was at
Nlcopolls that St. Paul was made a
prisoner tor the second time and
