Official results established by the Ferguson Tractor show: • 22 Per cent less fuel consumed than the average amount consumed by 10 competing tractors. • 27 Percent more land plowed than the average acreage plowed by 10 competing tractors using the same amount of fuel. Mr and Mrs. Guy Moore shopped in Ontario Tuesday, Appeal Issued F o r Paym ent F o r Seals Mrs. June Davis, executive secre tary of the Malheur County Tuberc ulosis and Health association, an nounced today that receipts lor the 1949-50 Christmas seal and bond sale drive are approximately $2.000 short of the goal, which Is set at $7.500 for the current year. “The association's work”, Mrs. Davis stressed, "Is made possible by the sale of Christmas seals and Christmas bonds, which are the sole support of the association. T o real ize fully it's plans for an Improved program of case finding, health ed ucation. and rehabilitation during 1950, every county resident is asked to send his contribution to the as sociation headquarters now. If every person who received Christmas seals the latter part of November. 1949. will acknowledge his seal sale letter and pay for his seals, we will be able to meet our quota,” Mrs. Davis added.
