UO Enrollment Nears 10.000 EUGENE (UPH Universi ty of Oregon President Arthur Flemming said Monday the school's enrollment probably would exceed the 10.000 mark for the first time. Flemming said at the close of business Oct. II, the last day to register without special peti tion, 9.955 students had paid fees. A year ago there were 69 students who were accepted for registration by petition.
