Henley High School's football
field will soon be improved by
the addition of a new electric
scoreboard. A gift from the
Coca-Cola Bottling Company
and Pacific Supply Cooperative
it was obtained through the
joint efforts of Everett Ball and
Lee McFarland. managers of
the two companies. It is hoped
tlie scoreboard will be ready for
use for the Hornets next home
game.
The Library Club, formed by
librarian Geneva Duncan, is
joining the organized clubs at
. Henley. Formed to keep inter
ested students posted on the ac
tivities in the library, the club
will also have several social ac
tivities during the year. At the
initial meeting the group post
poned the election of officers un
til they could become better ac
quainted with one another.

Nears 10.000

Flemming said Monday the
school's enrollment probably
would exceed the 10.000 mark
for the first time.
Flemming said at the close
of business Oct. II, the last day
to register without special peti
tion, 9.955 students had paid
fees. A year ago there were 69
students who were accepted for
registration by petition. Flem
ming said if the percentage
trend continued the final regis
tration would be about 10,025.
