Bod Kindley and Bill Cas selman of Portland had left four other campers at North Lake Sunday morning and planned to meet them again at Wyeth on U.S. Highway 110 later in the day. The Forest Service started a search about noon Monday, after noting that the trail the boys intended to follow had not been maintained for sev eral years. A Forest Service employee at Ihc ranger station said the boys told him they lost the trail and had to hike out across country.
