Equipped with armored cars, trench mortars and machine-guns, 400 men of the .Worcestershire regiment re placed a small post of black watch regiment troops In Bethlehem. The new troops took over all of I Bethlehem, which had been barely held by the post for weeks. Detachments then pushed on 12 miles to Hebron, solidifying control of the area In which the Arab band had been operating virtually un checked.
