Rockefeller, III, Is to ba married l&t today to Mia Bl&nchette Hooker of Greenwich, Conn., a descendant of Thomas Hooker, founder of Hart ford, Conn. The ceremony will be in Riverside church. Th wedding bell that will ring In the tower overlooking the Hudson river were given to the church by the groom's father, John D. Rocke ' feller. Jr., In memory of his grand mother. Laura Spell man Rockefeller. His grandfather, John D. Rocke feller, Sr.. will not attend the wed ding, having left Wednesday for his winter home at Ormond Each, Pla. The young man, 3 years old, is the eldest of five sons of John D. Rockefeller, Jr. His four brothers, Nelson, Laurence, Winthrop and Da vid, will be In the wedding party. Nelson Rockefeller, already married, will be the beet man. Miss Hooker Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elon H. Hooker of Chelmsford, Greenwich, Conn. Her father was deputy superintendent of public works In New York state when Theodore Roosevelt was governor, and be i past president of the Manufac turing Chemists' association of the United States. Society and Clubs New Loyalty Circle to Have Busy Season Much Interest la being voiced these days among members of the young married set in the New Loyalty cir cle of the Methodist Episcopal church, recently organized. The cir cle met yesterday at the home of Mrs. George Codding, who was as sisted in entertaining by Mrs. Ber nard Roberts. The group meets the second Thurs day of each month and will meet next month with Mrs. Elbert F. Cole man. The membership Includes 30 and there were 13 at yesterday's meeting. The major activity of the circle this season, which the members ex pect to make a very busy one, will be sewing for t,he Red Cross. Other phases of relief work will be taken up during the year. All young wom en Interested In this type of work are Invited to meet with the circle. Miss Stone Leaves For Eugene Campos Mtss Ruby Stone, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. D. W. Stone, left this morn ing on the Shasta for Eugene, where tomorrow evening she will be a guest at the formal dance being given by the Phi Delta Theta fraternity on the University of Oregon campus.
