With two thousand three hundred and ninety-six other American Red Cross chapters the annual roll call and yearly subscription campaign will be launched by Medford Monday morning. The local campaign In the business district will be under the supervision of llenjainln F. Lindas, who will be assisted by forty of the loading and most influential business men of the city. A systematic plan has been per fected which will cover the entire business district in a very short space of time not necessitating any of the workers to lose much time from their business. A comprehensive report of tho splen did work accomplished by the local chapter is available at Red Cross head quarters showing in detail the opera tions of tho chapter last year. ;Anyone wishing to Inspect It will be welcomed at- Red Cross headquarters In the Sparta building. Information regard ing the work to be accomplished this year will be published In the locjil papers during the present week and throughout the campaign. . A large committee of prominent Medford business and professional men that has had the preliminary ar rangements of the approaching cam paign in band has carefully discussed the local Red Cross work and after a thorough Investigation was unanimous that this work Is a vital necessity in Medford for the coming winter and for next year. .
