Elijah Straub, of Med ford, in company with his son-in-law, Clarence Sweeney of Kennewlck, Washington, arrived in Madras that evening with a bunch of horses which they were taking from Medford to Kennewick, and pitched camp in the western edge of , town. They were greatly surprised, as they walked Into tho church, to find Rev. Walter L. Straub, the evangelist, doing the preaching. Six of the cases were for Intoxication on the streets, and two were for operating cars on the streets with open mufflers. Four cases investigated by the court were not docketed.
