Member may enter one or both contests. ' (LASS A: Record Book Contest Record book must include project record! for current year, permanent record and ; 4-H notes up to date of fair time. CLASS B: Scrap Book Contest Scrap book should consist of pictures, newspaper clippings and correspondence that i relate the project carried for current year, or for a number of years. Materials should : be organized by year, or project area. Include index and-or sheet listing projects i. carried for current year. Club scrapbooks may be entered in special category. ' LOT 1. Club Scrapbook DIVISION 5 OWGL MULT-USE 4-H BAKING CONTEST - OPEN TO ALL 4 H MEMBERS PREMIUMS $S.M award to champion each division ' Exhibit a baked product (bread, cake, cookies, or any food product) using a wheat s product such at ala. bulgar, whole wheat flour, wheat germ, cracked wheat, rolled ' wheat or whole wheat berry. Product may be prepared at home. Include recipe. LOT 1. Junior 2. Intermediate 3. Senior This contest is for 4 H members who use wheat products such as AJa or bulgur, whole wheat flour, wheat germ, cracked wheat, rolled wheat or wholewheat berry in baked rockJsl Thew ingredients can be used in any good product which is baked. The contest is divided into three divisions in each county and they consist of a Senior, Intermediate' and Junior awards. Prizes are $5 to the first place winner in each division. The recipe must accompany each entry. There will be one ribbon (blue) to the winner of each division. The $5 a ward will be mailed to the winner upon receipt of their name and address in the OWGL Office. The blue ribbon will be sent to the county Consumer Programs chairman in each couii'n lo U- plated on the products at the fair. DIVISION 6 BEEF BROWN BAG CONTEST PHEMIIMS: a: jo lues. Ut place 112.00, 2nd place I0.OO, 3rd place $8.00 (by .Morrow County Cow Belles) OPEN TO ALL 4-H MEMBERS Serving portion of roast beef, brown bag, and sandwich bag will be furnished by Cow Belles. Participant will : 1. Prepare roast beef sandwich for sack lunch. 2. Decorate brown bag to promote beef, i.e. picture, slogan, etc. 3. Be able to tell judge why sandwich 1 nutritious, Contestant brings choice of bread, seasonings, toppings, . . ingredients to add to basic meat to make a tasty, creative, nutritious sandwich. (Opt. may include two other items to make lunch nutritionally balanced.) Also bring choice of supplies for decorating bag . . marking pen, picture, etc. . . . your choice . , . keep it simple. Contest will be judged on: taste, appearance, beef statement, nutrition, and creativity, Contest length ... 30 minutes. DIVISION 7 SOMETHING FOR NOTHING EXHIBIT PltKMIl MS Itlue - $4.00.
