J A, I Jl 3i 7 jf i' ;a w N, 1 if I ill' ! 0 r. i- t. ; u f - ".. it Estimates of the number of people who turned out for Heppner's St. Patrick's Day celebration Saturday ranged from 1,200 up, but by any standard of measurement, the feeling about town was that it turned into a resounding suc cess. A large crowd turned out for every activity including a great number at the parade, big crowds in the Elks Lodge and lots of people at the restaurants, and at the Catho lic Church's ham dinner. Organizers of the event were praised at the Heppner Morrow Chamber of Com merce luncheon Tuesday for their work in putting together the now annual event which has grown from a small get together in 1982, to a town wide celebration in 1984. 4 ! The Morrow County area has greatly profited from quality education in: THE COMPUTER FIELD - This spring term alone, five computer courses will be offered localJy. The courses will range from basic computer understanding to computer programing and microcomputer programming. Work processing using the computer will also be offered. O o I INDIVIDUAL FITNESS Golf and tennis are popular spring and summer sports. Instruction in both is offered in the spring schedule for this area. Also popular are the aerobic and fitness dance classes. ADULT BASIC EDUCATION LIFE ENRICHMENT COURSES CAREER OPPORTUNITIES The college continues to maintain sound fiscal management and is responsible and accountable to all area residents. The college operates with no tax base and needs our active support each year. This year, the levy increase is a low 2.3 percent.
