August 24. Between 4-H and F.F.A. ani mals. 85 sheep are expected, along with 18 hogs and 22 steers, reports Roger Records, Heppner F.F.A. instructor. Small animals will be sold at a separate sale on Tuesday. August 23. at S p.m. Weigh-in for market animals will be from 8 to 10 a.m. on Monday. Records stressed that if animals were over or under weight, they will not be allowed to be sold. Steers must weigh-in at between 975 and 1,300 lbs., lambs at 90 to 140 lbs., and hogs between 195 and 240 lbs. after pencil shrink. Stall assignments are posted on the stalls. The Morrow County Livestock Growers sponsor the annual event. Auctioneer will be Stuart Severe of Hermiston. and per sonnel from First Interstate Bank in Heppner will again han dle the paper work of the sale.
