mals. 85 sheep are expected,
along with 18 hogs and 22 steers,
reports Roger Records, Heppner
F.F.A. instructor.
Small animals will be sold at a
separate sale on Tuesday. August
23. at S p.m.
Weigh-in for market animals
will be from 8 to 10 a.m. on
Monday. Records stressed that if
animals were over or under
weight, they will not be allowed to
be sold. Steers must weigh-in at
between 975 and 1,300 lbs., lambs
at 90 to 140 lbs., and hogs between
195 and 240 lbs. after pencil
shrink.
Stall assignments are posted on
the stalls.
The Morrow County Livestock
Growers sponsor the annual
event. Auctioneer will be Stuart
Severe of Hermiston. and per
sonnel from First Interstate
Bank in Heppner will again han
dle the paper work of the sale.

Friday show, call between 11
a.m. and 6 p.m. Events include:
cow milking, barrels, steer
wrestling, cow riding, open calf
roping, team roping (may enter
twice), amateur calf roping and
junior barrels.
For Saturday's and Sunday's
open W.R.A. - N.R.A. rodeo
shows, call between 8a.m. and 12
noon for rough stock (bulls first
hour) and between 12:30 and 4:30
p.m. for timed events. Call back
between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on
