Fair Committee, Fair Board and extension staff have scheduled a pre-planning ses sion for all open class and 4-H superintendents for Tuesday April, 12 7 p.m. at the fair grounds, Heppner. The Port of Morrow Commission ers cannot turn their heads to the fact that 45 percent of the vote (those votes received by Dan Creamer and myself) indicate the desire for change. And that change promised by both Dan and I during our campaigns was for accelera ted growth of the port with new additions that would benefit all of Morrow County. The money realized from this project will go toward the upgrading and renovation of the church building. A male patient was transported to Consolidated Good Shepherd Hospital in Hermiston. Also on March 30. a Board man police officer arrested Daniel H. Lopez. 19, of Irrigon for an alleged parole violation. He was lodged pending a hearing. On March 31, a Morrow County sheriff's deputy ar rested Patricia Jean McAdams, 47. of Boardman. for allegedly Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants. She was released on her own recognizance. On April 1. a Boardman police officer arrested John Samuel Williams. 19. of Irri gon. for alleged Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants. Reckless Driving and Carry ing a Concealed Weapon. In another April 1 incident. Dale Franklin Hink, 49. of Boardman. was issued a cita tion to appear on charges of alleged Second Degree Theft after an incident occurring at Sentry Foods. Boardman. On April 3. a Boardman ambulance transported a pa tient from a Mt. Adams resi dence to Consolidated Good Shepherd Hospital. Hermis ton. Also on April 3. a Morrow County sheriff's deputy ar rested Mark D. Greene, 22, of Irrigon, on a charge of alleged First Degree Assault stem ming from an incident occur ring April 2 on Third St. West in Irrigon. Stress program to begin in Heppner April 12 'Defusing the Stress Bomb." a three-session pro gram designed to help people cope with stress, will start April 12 at 7 p.m. at the Seventh -day Adventist Church. 560 N. Minor in Hep pner. announced a church spokesperson. Succeeding sessions will be held on April 19 and 26. There is no charge to attend, she said. The South Morrow County Ministerial Association will hold an open meeting on Wed nesday, April 13. at 11 a.m. to discuss the possibility of hold ing a CROP "Hunger Walk" in the fall, announced the Rev. French, Alpine and Myers. Crushed rock was also spread on Myers and French roads. Blade work was done on Baker east and west, east and west Ella Road and on Stefanl Road, with road cleanup done on Paul Brown Road. In the Irrigon-Boardman area Homestead Road was cleaned up and crushed rock was spread on Roardman-Ir-rigon Road and on Seventh St. Irrigon.
