MARKET TREND : The steer market was down $2.00 with 500 - 600 lb. steers holding up better than the other classes. The bottom dropped out on the heifers with a drop of $4.00 -. 5.00 in some classes. Some good quality cows held the cow market steady, while the average was off $1.00 - 2.00. Plenty of buyers were on hand, however they were being very selective.
