II. The Cardinals kept up in the first quarter as they held the Huskies to eight points. But the Cardinals couldn't hit the basket as they only put in four points. The Huskies opened up a 12 point lead at the half as they outscored the Cards to take a 7 -19 advantage into the locker room. The Cardinals held the Vikings to seven in the second quarter as the Cards went into the locker room down 11 - 30 at the half.
