They moved their lead to 6 at the half. 13-19. In the third quarter the Cards were outscored, 8-16, to make the score 21-35 going into the fourth quarter. The Cards had several girls in foul trouble and had only 7 girls who were able to play. Liz McElligott fouled out late in the third quarter and the Cards had only one substitute after this. In the fourth quarter, the Cards were outscored, 11-16, to give the Cougars a 32-51 Fillies lose to JVs take win 10 4 -: by Sherry Cowett The Heppner Fillies played Weston-McEwen Friday, Jan. 16, and lost to the Tiger-iicots, 18-22. It was a close game from the beginning, with end-of-quarter scores, 5-5, 9-11, 15-15. High-point scorer for the game was Janet Plocharsky with seven points. The JV Fillies won their game against Condon on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 44-27. High scorers were Janet Plochar sky with nine and Sherry Clement with eight points. The Cards were victorious 51-47. The Cards got the lead in the first quarter by 2 as they took a 12-10 lead into the second quarter. The Blue Devils outscored the Cards in the second quarter to take a 25-27 lead into the locker room at the half. In the third quarter the Cards came back to outscore VAN ARSDALE CONST, co.
