Pacific Daylight Time, in and for the Irrigon Rural Fire Protection District there will be submitted to the qualified voters thereof the question of authorizing a serial tax levy for the Irrigon Rural Fire Protection District In the sum of $5,700.00 annually pur suant to Section 11, Article XI of the Oregon Constitution, to be effective for the fiscal year beginning July 1. 1971. The votes shall be by ballot in substan tially the following form: QUESTION Submitted to THE LEGAL VOTERS OF THE IRRIGON RURAL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT Measure No. 1: Shall the Board of Directors of the Irrigon Rural Fire Protection District be authorized to make a ser ial tax levy in the amount of $5,700.00 for the fiscal year 1971-1972 for the purpose of purchasing equipment and op erational costs. These proposed taxes are out side and in addition to the limitation imposed by Section 11 of Article XI of the Ore gon Constitution. The maximum rate of levy deemed necessary to raise FIVE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS ($5,700.. 00) is the sum THREE DOL LARS PER THOUSAND ($3.00 per $1,000.00) of true cash value of taxable property within the district.
