The project alio proposrs to raise the south jetty to lull high water mark, which by his estimates will require "'0,Ui)0 tons of stone. The width of the en trance proposed that oi 1000 leet, fulfills two essential conditions, i namely, it corresponds lanly to interior widths near the mouth and it gives reasonable facility to vessels seeking entrance. Spokane Review: There i3 a movement on foot to erect a tem perance temple in this city, and definite steps will soon be taken in the matter. Those interested in the movement are looking about for a suitable site. It will require $20,000 for the ground and building.
