The Herald's Special Dispatches. - ' - Chicago, Oct. 25. A mail pouch which left Boston Tuesday, ai rived in Chicago last evening over the Michigan Southern road, robbed of all the registered matter. The supposition is that a large amount of money was obtained by the thief. The bag had been cut oper, the thief taking the package con taining first-class matter out. This leads to the belief that the perpetrator is some one connected with the postal service. The rob bery is supposed to liave been committed between Boston and Cleveland. TFSF.L WRECHCB, All oa Board Rut Captain and One Sailer Drowned. New Yokk, Oct. 25. Captain Covert, of the bark Silas Fish, ar rived from Virk's island yesterday. His vessel was wrecked off Grand Turk September 2nd. and the crew ot eleven men ana three passen gers were drowned. Only Covert and a sailer named Quenton Paul were saved. WILL BE IIIW. A Handsome Widow Leads a Man and Wife to 1 heir Death. Charleston (S. C), Oct. 25. At Sparlandburg in this state yes terday K. Senn and Helen Botand were both sentenced to be hanged on December 14th, for the murder of Mrs. ienn two years ago.
