This summer she will attend C a reers in M ed i cin e , a N a tio n a l Y outh Leadership forum. H er teacher nominated her to attend the forum, based on academ ic excel lence, leadership potential and interest in a medical career. The forum is held at a m edical school in Florida. Devynn’s family is helping her raise the needed funds for her to attend. Careers in Medicine The -C a reers in M ed i c i n e fo ru m g iv e s h ig h school students a chance to m eet w ith first-y e a r m edical school students. The high school stu dents w ill visit m edical fa cilities, m eet w ith physi cians and other m edical professionals, and observe m edical procedures. Through the program the students w ill also learn about the m edical school application process, and learn about the m any and v a rie d c a re e r o p tio n s available in the m edical profession.
