Coach Joe Kasliberger'a fighting Angels tri umphed over Columbia U their old rivals on the M. A. C. gridiron yesterday afternoon In a bitterly fought game, to the tune of 16 to 7. The Mt. Columbia carried the ball to the middle of the field ind then started an aerial attack which took the ball to the 35-yard line. Another pass coupled with peualtiea carried the ball to the Mt. Angel eight yard line. Gaua final ly carried It over for the Auch- lawn and Jackson kicked. Martin made consistent galnB In taking the ball down the field, most of the Columbia galnB being made thru center. A 3 5 -yard run by. Spear gave Mt. Angel another touohdown. With the ball on the Columbia 35-yard line Spears, on a spinner play twist ed and dodged his wa ypaat six tacklers and went for the touch down. The kick fatted.
