It also was the fi nal Saturday trading of the sum mer. The New York stock ec change next week begins its sum mer schedule, which omits tne two-hour Saturday session. The summer program will con tinue for the next 18 weeks, with the short session being resumed next Oct. 1. All other security and commodity markets also will oegui their summer sessions next week, with the exception of the Chicago board of trade, which will operate as usual.
