At times the boat goes out eighteen or twenty miles where the fishing is good. Ulten one person will catch five or six fine lin or rock cod and frequently catch; fine, large halibuts. The people frequently get seasick, but they don't mind that as the fun of fishing and rid ing on the waves offset any trouble they may have in this line. This fishing business is one of the at tractions that is growing in favor all the time. Some five or Bix of the smaller gasoline launches are engaged in the deep sea fishing right along. Now that we have cold storage it is easy to keep the fish, and all fish that cannot be sold in the Newport market can be disturbed by the invasion of several shipped to Portland where there is of the fairer sex.
