The objective of this project is to utilize satellite imagery, to develop and expand existing GIS databases and develop change detection methodologies for regional planning analysis. The successful consultant must have significant knowledge and experience related to the highway construction industry, and the expertise and/or access to resources to provide a comprehensive one-stop service center, orientation seminars, training classes, one-on-one tech nical assistance, pre-bid conferences and public relations ser vices to DBEs. Sixth and Broadway) the sidewalks would be widened and the road ways narrowed. The right-hand travel lane would be reserved for transit vehicles only, and the left lane would be for buses and general traffic. On-street parking would be eliminated. Transit amenities would be provided, including one passenger shelter per block, benches and street trees. Materials and finishes would closely resemble the existing Transit Mall. No persons, families or businesses will be displaced by these projects. These projects are in conformance with comprehensive land use and transportation planning in the area and will be programmed in the Transportation Improvement Program.
