Also coming for the day were their daughter, Mrs. Durel Shrum and his two other daughters, Leann Emenick and Linda Shrum. Mr. and Mrs. Rodd had spent a week in Beaverton visiting Mrs. Rodd’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Durel Shrum. They all visited the Larry Oblack family too. Mr. and Mrs. Max Oblack drove to Tacoma Sunday to visit Evelyn Bearuit. Mrs. Bearuit and Mrs. Oblack were school day friends. She is better known as the former Evelyn McMullen by her friends in Vernonia. Larry Jr. also went to Tacoma with his grandparents.
