Thirteen women played Poker Golf
on the second night of the Women’s
Golf Association. The winner was
Vesta King and runner up was
Dorothy Loumena. The weather was
great and a good time was had by all.

just follow these three easy steps:
1) Complete the ‘Vial Of Life’
information form.
2) Place the completed ‘Vial Of Life’
information form inside the vial and
fasten the vial to the shelf at the top
right corner inside your refrigerator.
3) Place the enclosed, self-adhesive
decal on your front door above the
doorknob.

SURPRISE VISIT
Mr. and Mrs. Max Oblack were
surprised on Tuesday by a visit from
their granddaughter and husband Mr.
and Mrs. Fred Rodd of Fort
Richardson, Alaska. Also coming for
the day were their daughter, Mrs.
Durel Shrum and his two other
daughters, Leann Emenick and Linda
Shrum. Mr. and Mrs. Rodd had spent
a week in Beaverton visiting Mrs.
Rodd’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Durel
Shrum. They all visited the Larry
Oblack family too.
Mr. and Mrs. Max Oblack drove to
Tacoma Sunday to visit Evelyn
Bearuit. Mrs. Bearuit and Mrs.
Oblack were school day friends. She is
better known as the former Evelyn
McMullen by her friends in Vernonia.
Larry Jr. also went to Tacoma with
his grandparents.
