The fa th e r seemed quite p u t out about his son’s lack of m an ners and held up his hand to stop him. “ W hat do w*e say when Mr. Benson gives us som ething?” he dem anded. “ C harge it,” replied ^ * - 3 .. For instance, I’m convinced that many of these who speak out against the old Amer ican custom of enjoying a glass of beer after work are just parroting what they’ve heard others say.
