Judges will grade cut flowers on: 1.Condition of entry,(please remove all diseased and dead leaves and flowers). 2.Foliage (each entry must have foliage, you will be rated higher if foliage is attached to bloom, foliage must be in good condition). 3.Straightness of stem. If directions say one bloom, remove all other blooms from stem. If it says one stem, then all flowers in good condition may be left on. Judging of all the articles will be based, generally, on the following points-with the most important listed first and least important last: Workman-ship in relation to pattern and fabric, neatness, suitability to occasion, general appearance, blocking, pressing, etc., color design.
