Rebecca Hatfield has graduated with
her master’s degree in counseling from
Oregon State University’s Counseling
Program. Rebecca successfully defended
on May 11, 2005, to earn her master’s.

The days are longer, the shadows
are fewer, and the warm sunshine is pen­
etrating all of Mother Nature’s nooks and
crannies.
I, like spring, start to take on color
getting ready for a sun-filled summer.
I truly believe life should not be
measured by the breath we take, but by
the moments that take our breath away.
Ordinary moments need to be closely
evaluated. Most of us would find there
are some pretty extraordinary happenings
that need to be appreciated right in front
of us.
Ever listen to a grandchild giggle? It
brings joy and laughter to my soul.
The goals and achievements of our
children should be valued at their levels,
not ours.
A friendship taken for granted needs
to be nurtured to grow.
So easily overlooked are our parents,
for all they have given us. We need to
thank them with all our love and love
them with all our heart.
Like a beautiful rose from the bud to
a fragrant blooming flower with petals
wrapped layer upon layer, healthy new
growth strengthens our families, our com­
munity, generation after generation, our
children’s children forever.

To Mom
Mom -The other day while I was
at work, heard a song on the radio. It
was an oldie, Summer Breeze.
I thought. “They're playing Mom’s
music.” It took me back to a time when
life seemed so simple.
Growing up, 1 can remember you
always singing to me. I'll never forget
the day 1 learned a second verse to You
Are My Sunshine - ha, ha. Who knew?
I remember like it was yesterday. Where
has all the time gone?
My life has by no means been easy.
It’s been a struggle, but every time
things get rough I remember what a
stronger person I have become because
of you. I don’t say it often enough, but
I love you, Mom, and I miss you.
I learned many important lessons
in life from you that seem to come into
play more times than you know. I just
needed you to know that today you're
on my mind.

Liam Patrick Sullivan
Patrick and JoDee Sullivan are proud
to announce the birth of their son,
Liam Patrick.
Liam was born Feb. 12,2005, in Gold
Beach, Ore. He weighed 8 pounds. 1 f
ounces, and was 20'/2 inches long.
We send our love and would like to
thank everyone for their support.
