TRIBAL MEMBER NEWS/PASSAGES Sacred Ground Outreach Welcomes You by Dan and LaRita Lundy Please join us at our multicultural ministry on Sundays at 10 a.m. and Wednesdays at 7 p.m. at the Siletz Valley Grange hall. We are a Foursquare Gospel Church planted here by the Newport Foursquare Church of Newport, Ore. The thrust of this ministry is to provide a place where multicultural worship and teaching can take place. We are specifically called to reach out to the Native American community as well as the community in general here in Siletz. Some of the music will reflect the Native American culture in style while keeping Jesus in the center of it. Many of the messages will deal with cultural issues within the community as well as worldwide. Ail cultures are welcome. All races are welcome. Please feel at ease here. We don’t want anyone to feel left out or unwanted. Jesus loves every person on the face of the earth. His heart is to reach us where we live in a way that we can relate to. This is called culturally relevant ministry. Relax, join in, and worship the Creator in your own way. We are open to dancing, drumming, clapping, singing, and joyful noises unto the Lord! If you wish to wear your regalia to our gatherings, do so! The Bible is full of stories where God’s people worshipped with drums, stringed instruments, rattles, singing, and dancing. Let’s actively take part in what God has for us today! You are welcome here! Walter Jake Easter - 1932-2001 Walter Jake Easter was born on J une 7,1932, and passed on June 22,2001.
