TRIBAL PROGRAM NEWS Circle of Wisdom Gathers Elders Another Year of Wisdom Happy Birthday! On May 8, the Siletz Elders hosted the “Circle of Wisdom” gathering. Mother’s Day Tea a Success The fifth Mother’s Day Tea was held at the Mission Mill in Salem on May 11. Many elders attended. It was a really beautiful day and everyone had a very enjoyable time. The smallest bead represents the size of a lump in a woman's breast that can be found with repeat mammograms; the next larger with the first mammogram; the next larger with a clinical breast exam; the next larger with regular breast self-exams; the next larger with occasional breast self-exams; and the largest found accidentally by women untrained in breast self-exams. There always are cancellations and it’s important to get signed up if you think you might want to go.
