SILETZ NEWS Vol. 29, No. 2, February 2001 monthly publication by the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Brown-Godfrey Named Employee of the Year Laurie Brown-Godfrey was named Employee of the Year at the tribe s holiday party/all-staff meeting in December. Both Bob Jensen and Ticey Casey nominated Laurie. Bob’s nomination reads as follows: “Laurie’s positive attitude and her willingness to help her ESP clients is remarkable. The few short months I have worked with Laurie, she has always been enthusiastic in trying new things for her client s benefit. She is one of our resident experts in eligibility determinations and all ESP staff look to her for interpretation or clarification. She is the first tribal services specialist to place a client in a private work experience position. She is also the first tribal services specialist to be actively involved in her local area ‘one stop’ local workforce board. Laurie is a valuable ESP employee.” Ticey wrote the following: “Laurie has spent a lot of extra time and energy working on Increasing Your Success for our clients. This is above and beyond her job duty and i: very beneficial for our clients. She is a workaholic and you will know thi: if you work with her.” Please join us in congratulating Laurie for continuing to do a grea job in helping Siletz Tribal members.
