Brown-Godfrey Named
Employee of the Year
Laurie Brown-Godfrey was named Employee of the Year at the tribe s
holiday party/all-staff meeting in December.
Both Bob Jensen and Ticey Casey nominated Laurie. Bob’s
nomination reads as follows:
“Laurie’s positive attitude and her willingness to help her ESP clients
is remarkable. The few short months I have worked with Laurie, she has
always been enthusiastic in trying new things for her client s benefit. She
is one of our resident experts in eligibility determinations and all ESP
staff look to her for interpretation or clarification. She is the first tribal
services specialist to place a client in a private work experience position.
She is also the first tribal services specialist to be actively involved in
her local area ‘one stop’ local workforce board. Laurie is a valuable
ESP employee.”
Ticey wrote the following:
“Laurie has spent a lot of extra time and energy working on Increasing
Your Success for our clients. This is above and beyond her job duty and i:
very beneficial for our clients. She is a workaholic and you will know thi:
if you work with her.”
Please join us in congratulating Laurie for continuing to do a grea
job in helping Siletz Tribal members.
