Community Siletz News Paso 7 Portland area office news in brief CYNTHIA VILES Administrative Supervisor Supplemental Education Program PROGRAM REPORTS Lori Johnson is the Specialist who provides education support services to children and adults. Services for children include preschool assistance, tutoring and enrichment. Services for adults are for academic dr personal interest classes. Recently, the Adult Vocational Training and Higher Education services have been added to the duties of the Supplemental Education Special ist. Employment Services Program Diane Robertson is the Specialist for the program and Angela Ramirez is the Assistant. Clients of this program utilize one of the following components: Siletz Temporary Assistance to Needy Fam ilies (TANF), General Assistance (GA), Employment Assistance (Work Experience, Classroom Training, O n-the-job Training, Direct Placement, Support Services, Transportation Assistance). Referral assistance and advocacy is also provided. New intakes and monthly case reviews are available by appointment only. Diane, Angela and their clients will be in Lincoln City on May 12 for a workshop: Increasing Your Success III. Rodino Administration Administrative staff are the supervisor, Cindy Viles, and the Secretary, Connie James. Adminis trative staff oversee and provide program support to staff for all aspects of the day-to-day function ing of the Portland Office. Client Transporters_________ , Kay Steele, Shirley Walker, and Nicole Potter are available on an Position Vacancies on-call basis for either program clients or elders for transportation.
