Delores Pigsley, Bonnie Petersen, and Mary A. "Doll/* Fisher were elected to three-year terms on February 7,1998- This election set a new record for the Siletz tribe, 794 ballots were cast! These three women bring many years of experience and leadership skills to our council. The Siletz tribe is facing some challenging issues: from sovereignty to land use, gaming to governmental relations. We wish them "Good luck" in their endeavors. McChesney, special agent in charge of the Portland Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, announced Thurs day that three persons were arrested by the FBI on February 10 in Portland, on allegations that they used account access devices at the Chinook Winds Casino in Lincoln City. Arrested without incident were Binh Huynh, 27, of . Anaheim, California; Hai Phuoc Tran, 28, of Walla Walla, Wash.; and Tu Hai Huynh, 24, of Portland. McChesney said a criminal complaint was filed February 11 m U.S. District Court in Oregon, charging the three with violations of U.S. Code involving bank fraud.
