The purpose of the client's participation in the program is to enable them to learn successful live abstinently from any use of alcohol or illicit drugs. The Prenatal Care Program is critical to the health and well-being of our youngest children. This program will provide and enhance a comprehensive alcohol and drug treatment service for women who in the past, had limited access to such service. This program will provide an incentive program for at-risk women, postpartum women and those who have had their children taken away due to alcohol and drug related issues. Women frequently have the primary responsibility for the care of their children, and few treatment centers have extended child care forever. The Program objectives is to improve family function over time. It is to fulfill the tribes mission in promoting their cultural and religious beliefs and to pass them on in their own way to all generations of their children forever.
