Responsibilities: CAP’S Volunteer Coordinator functions as the lead staff posi tion for development, implementation, evalua tion, consultation and analysis of the agency’s large, multi-faceted volunteer system, includ ing: recruitment, orientation, training and placement: development and maintenance of database and tracking mechanisms; develop ment of agency-wide policies and procedures: facilitation of and consultation to staff volun teer management team; evaluation of sys tems for effectiveness and efficiency; imple mentation and analysis of annual evaluation plan; development of mechanisms for recog nition and retention; promotion of volunteer opportunities across the Portland metro area; maximization of area volunteer resources; and collaboration with related organizations. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in related field; demonstrated professional volunteer management success in comparably large, complex program; program planning, budg eting and evaluation experience; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal and public speaking skills; proficiency in MS Office products, including database management. Compensation: Up to $34,000, depending on experience, skills and education; employ er-paid health, dental, long-term disability and life insurance; 403(b) tax-deferred annu ity; option of flex-time schedule.
