Monday evening of thit week the five-year-dd son of Mrt Jennie Carroll, whp lives at Sheckley's mill west of this city, perpetrated a thick that put a' heating stove out of commission and ffava the bov a few minor burns. While the mother ehen, the boy secured a can of peas and placed it in the heating stove and started anre overit. In the course of a few minutes enough tteam to burst the can had been generated and the heating stove was blown to atoms. It is a wonder that the boy wat not more seriously injured oui a lew minor burnt were all the injur ies he tuttained.
