The snows and frosts have delayed things considerably this fall and opera twi had to be suspended several times. Rare are now in the sheds at the factory eighteen thousand tons of beets and the factory will begin on these. There are several thousand ton of beets lying on the ground out in the valley, which are thawed out and will be used just as quickly as the roads will permit hauling. The highways are in frightful condition, but the management is hopeful that before the supply now on hand is disposed of, the ten or twelve thousand tons out in the valley can be brot in.
