The county court of Baker county is going after the road overseers, and here after will insist on knowing where the work has been, how many men and teams were employed and how much time was put in, also how much work was done. The lump sum road bill devoid of specifications, except that the work was done in a certain district, is going out of fashion in Baker county. The Oregon oad graft is very great in some cases, and the only protection the people have is through the county court.
