Searle, of Freedom, Okla., left their home Wednesday enroute to Elgarose to visit the Tinkers. Mrs. Hunter III Mrs. Els a Hunter of Elsarose has been confined to Mercy Hos pital. She has been reported quite ill, but is improving. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Backlund and Mrs. Edna Sjogren, accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Walker and children to Butte Falls on a trip to visit Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Back lund and daughter. Mrs. Albert Cromwell spent a few 'days at Curtain, where her husband and John and Dwight Tinker and Lee McKnight are do ing some logging. Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Tinker have returned to their borne after Visit ing with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Tink er, at Napa, Calif. To Move Soon Mr. and Mrs. William Hunter of Cleveland Hill will move to their new home in Elgarose in the near future. Azalea Area Car Accident Victim Back In School By ILA QUIRKS Rkhard Chambers Is back in school again after an automobile accident some time back. The car went over the bank after hitting a slick spot on a curve on the Cow Creek Road- near the Art Fisher home. The curve has been the scene of several other acci dents in the past. Chambers had several stitches taken over his left eye. Road Work Done The county road crew has fin. Auction Scheduled For Olympic Timber OLYMPIA (fl More than five million board feet of timber in the Duckabush watershed of the Ohm. pic National Forest will be offered to the highest bidder at an auction at the Quilcene Ranger Station May 11. Forest supervisor M. u. Bruce announced Monday. The timber, virtually all Douglas fir, will be offered for not less than $80,905. all week with the measles. Dennis Sjogren, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Sjogren, is confined at home with the mumps. Roy Howard Is home from his stay of a month in the Veterans Hospital at Roseburg.
