has been confined to Mercy Hos
pital. She has been reported quite
ill, but is improving.

Azalea Area Car Accident Victim Back In School

Rkhard Chambers Is back in
school again after an automobile
accident some time back. The car
went over the bank after hitting
a slick spot on a curve on the
Cow Creek Road- near the Art
Fisher home. The curve has been
the scene of several other acci
dents in the past. Chambers had
several stitches taken over his
left eye.
Road Work Done
The county road crew has fin.

Auction Scheduled
For Olympic Timber
OLYMPIA (fl More than five
million board feet of timber in the
Duckabush watershed of the Ohm.
pic National Forest will be offered
to the highest bidder at an auction
at the Quilcene Ranger Station
May 11. Forest supervisor M. u.
Bruce announced Monday.
The timber, virtually all Douglas
fir, will be offered for not less
than $80,905.

Dine Successful
The souare dance nartv for rue
young folks of District 127 was
success. According to reports,
quite a few young people and
adults stayed until nearly 1 a.m.
Refreshments were served to the
guests by the PTA of the Gales-
ville school.
Quite a few logging trucks are
hauling logs from Upper Cow
Creek. There is a lot of traffic
on the road for this time of vear.

Johnson recently.
The Azalea Garden dub will
hold Its regular meeting at the
home of Mrs. Esther Dirros with
Mrs. Leta McCollum as co-host
