Killed and his body eaten by hogs Is believ ed to have been the fate of O. M. Cagle, of this city. On Thursday of last week Cagle left home to look for a location to open a butcher shop In Dorrls, Cal. Yesterday his wife, who resides here, received a letter from Mr. Cagle stating he would go for a hunt before returning to Medford. This morning a letter reacbed here, addressed to the chief of police, written In an Il literate hand, the slgnaturo being il legible. The letter told or the finding of an unknown man with head battered In and the body having been partial ly devoured by hogs. From business cards found on the person It is evi dent that the remains are those of Mr. Cagle.
