Tho project of building a rail road along our beach betweon this place and Ilwaco has attracted no little attention during the past three years. It now needs some one of energy and a few thousand dollars m money, to take hold of the proposition and raise a com pany and build the road. It will pay. It will only take eighteen miles of the road bed, which at a cost of 5,000 a mile, will make $90,000. For 100,000 it can be built and equipped ready for busi ness. The next thing to consider is, will it pay? The expense will not amount to more than $700 a month including all re pairs; interest at S per cent, on capital stock, 8GG6 per month, or a total of $1,366 per mouth. Now there are at least 10,000 persons who come to Ilwaco every sum mer, 'JO per cent, of which would go over the road and back at least once, whicli would make $18,000; say 4,000 -others go over the road during the year, 4,000, 20,000 sacks oysters at 20 cents, Si.OOO; miscellaneous freight, express and mail, 5,000 more, making a total of 31,000. Deducting the income from the the expense of SU3,392, we have 14,608, as a net profit, oyer and above the interest of S per cent. How does this strike you? Pacific Journal. I hare tried a number of physicians, but without receiving any permanent benefit. Among the number were one or two specialists. The mcdlclno they appllod was like fire to t&o sore, causing Intense pain. I saw a statement In tho papers telling what S. S. S. had done for others similarly afflicted. I procured some at once. Before I had used the second bottle the neighbors could notice that my cancer was healing up. My general health had been bad for two or threo years I had a hacking cough and spit blood continually. I had a severs pain In my breast. After taking six bottles of S. s. S. my cough left mo and I grew stouter than I had been for several years. My cancer has healed over all but a little spot about tho size of a half dime, and It Is rapidly disappear Ing. I would advise every one vith cancer to rIvo S. S. S. a fair trial. Mas. NANCY J.
