ises, although his friends horo repeat
edly warned him that It was dono only
to throw him down. But tho governor
replied that Brownell had novor de-

dominated tho county convention, Geer

which they nro offered instead of the

ton, unknown to anybody save as a
professional "organizer" and feo grab

would bo no opposition to him what

be depended upon under all circum
