KINGMAN KOLONY - Mr. and Mrs. John Zittercob of Nyssa visited Mr. and Mrs. Al Thompson Friday after noon. They had just returned from a two-month trip to Baltimore. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Clayton of Ontario visited Mr. and Mrs. Al Thompson Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Carl Piercy played cards at the Edythe Prosser home in Big Bend Friday af ternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Piercy attended the GAA sports night at the Adrian High School Sa turday evening. Tuesday evening Mr. and Mrs. Carl Piercy attended the FFA Banquet. Thursday evening, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Piercy were dinner Mrs. guests of his mother, Mabie Piercy. Other dinner Mrs. Piercy’s guess were Mr. and Mrs. Rube sister, Graham of Star and Mrs. Ro bert Long. Sunday dinner guests in the Willis Conant home were Mr. and Mrs. Mitch Anderson and boys of Vale and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Conant and Janet. Mrs. Dyer went to school to Mrs. Carl Begeman when they lived in Kansas. SUNSET VALLEY ACTIVITIES SUNSET VALLEY - Mr*. James Stephen and Mrs. Lois Counsil attended the meeting of Adrian, Big Bend and Tri valley Extension groups Monday evening at the Adrian School cafeteria. A program and re freshments were served during the afternoon. Members of the Adrian eighth grade were treated to a swim at Givens Hot Springs Friday evening with Mr. Jessen su pervising. They report having a grand time. Mrs. Harriet Turner and the Kenneth Lorensen family had dinner at the Plaza in Ontario Sunday and attended the matinee at the Center Theatre in the af ternoon. Know les visited Phil Mitchell at the Veteran's Hospital in Boise Wednesday afternoon. Phil has been hospitalized for some time now. He has recovered slowly and will need to be at the hos pital for a while yet. He can have visitors and friends may send cards to help alleviate any monotonous moments. About 55 girl scouts were present, and everyone brought a father or friend. Brownie troops »189 and 113 with leaders,Carolyn Pruyn and Donna Hutchison sang the Brownie Smile Song with ac tions, and danced to Jolly is the Miller. Junior Troop »683 with leaders, Marie Teague, Donna South and Donna Webb was in charge of the flag ceremony and also did a skit that the girls had written themselves. Cadette Troop *213, Sandy Morrison, 1 leader, lead the Grace before meals, Johnny Appleseed, and the closing Taps, accompanied by Carolyn Webb on the flute. Senior Troop »249, Margery Jackson, leader, was in charge of announcing the program. Barbie Bos sei man did the an nouncements, Anna Dority told what girl scouting meant to her and explained that February 22 is Girl Scout Thinking Day all over the world. Mrs. Dick Harris left Tues day for her home in Spring field after two weeks visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Boston and other relatives. Nancy and Danny Shippy of Weiser were weekend guests of their grandparents, Mr. and Mr*. Earl Boston. The Bostons took them home Sunday evening.
